Our Firm

Since 1953, PTA Engineering has provided for the planning and design of mechanical and electrical systems for buildings to both regional and national clients.  Our attention to detail has been recognized by clients and builders of our designs.  We engage in a broad range of commercial, institutional, industrial and public related projects.  A significant portion of our services involves the design of high reliability mechanical and electrical systems such as those required for healthcare, data centers, research, and food production facilities.

PTA Engineering's mission is simple…the success of their Client's project.

The PTA Difference

Success Driven Engineers

Owner project success is our prime objective. This starts with being a leader and a great teammate with the Owner and associated stakeholders. We take pride in translating the Owner's vision into MEP+T systems that meet project objectives functionally and economically, and in integrating those systems into the structural and architectural “body” of a building…bringing it to life.

Our Core Values

Diligent

"It is not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is, 'What are you busy about?' " - Henry David Thoreau

Every aspect of our engineering services is approached diligently, with focused, detailed, and persistent work effort. Our simple mission is the success of our Client's projects.

Professionally Affable

"I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition."

- Martha Washington

PTA teammates are expected to be approachable, considerate, respectful, empathetic and composed. Professionally Affable behavior promotes an open, positive culture that bridges all relationships.

Accountable

"The price of greatness is responsibility." - Winston Churchill

PTA is driven to achieve project results that exceed our Client's expectations. Our engineering services are systematic, process-oriented and involve complex relationships and schedules. They require concise execution of our responsibilities. PTA teammates are required to be accountable to themselves and to others.

Growth-Oriented

"If you would attain to what you are not yet, you must always be displeased by what you are. For where you are pleased with yourself; there you have remained. Keep adding, keep walking, keep advancing." - Saint Augustine of Hippo

PTA teammates are expected to embrace change and the challenges of change, to seek overall growth and to support the growth of their PTA teammates. PTA affords each member the opportunity to change and grow for the benefit of the firm and the individual.
