This project included construction of a new 204,000 square foot facility home to Hendrickson's Industrial Engineering/Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems division. Pre-design services included site visits to existing Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky facilities with the design-build team and Hendrickson project manager to establish Owner's Project Requirements and incorporate "lessons learned" from previous projects.

Factory HVAC system design consists of four (4) direct-fired makeup air units for heating and roof-mounted exhaust fans with zoned controls for summer ventilation.
Plumbing services included design of a natural gas piping distribution to support domestic water heating and HVAC equipment, a new compressed air system with redundant 200-HP variable speed compressors on a structural mezzanine, and process welding gas (Argon) piping for several product lines.
Fire Protection design included a riser manifold with six wet sprinkler zones and two dry-pipe systems for outdoor overhangs, as well as an FM200 system for the Office Server Room.
Coordination efforts of note were the air compressor location, factory ductwork coordination with the dust collection system (specified by others), domestic and fire water pressure requirements for the new fire pump (designed by others and located remotely) serving the future industrial development of the area, and plumbing system drops for the process equipment.
