This final PTA design eliminated outdated electrical panels and aged equipment, while achieving higher mission critical standards. This included redundant power feeds, as well as new UPS, PDU, Generator, and CRAC units. Project improvements included sustainable elements incorporating the industry’s highest efficiency cooling system. The new cooler unit will reduce cooling costs and power usage. The college also coordinated the humidity control and cooling among five computer server cooling units. These improvements have significantly improved the Tri-C data center’s reliability, stability and longevity.
