PTA Engineering recently completed the lighting and controls design services on The University of Akron’s Polsky Building. The design includes color-changing façade lighting and general area lighting along the sidewalks. The building’s exterior lighting color will be changed for holidays or events, such as orange lighting for Halloween or pink lighting for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. PTA Engineering provided electrical engineering, Barber & Hoffman provided structural engineering, and Chambers, Murphy & Burge, a studio of Perspectus Architecture, provided architectural design.
