Our team of engineers recently finished their project work at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) Research and Graduate Education Complex. Our electrical design included electrical distribution, lighting, receptacles, equipment wiring, fire alarm, and telecommunications for the entire 4th floor, which included lab spaces as well as offices and conference rooms. The mechanical design includes perimeter hydronic heat and air distribution throughout the labs and offices. The labs were provided with a laboratory pressurization control system. The plumbing systems design included DWV, acid waste, lab air and vacuum, high purity water distribution, and specialty lab gases (CO2, nitrogen, etc.).
